A:
> So japan doesnt have "mainstream music" music
As you say, I don't think we have "mainstream music". In Japan, music is not treated so seriously.
Let me explain the music business in Japan briefly.
For instance, in the U.S., a musician is basically a musician. We seldom see a musician acts in a movie or a actress releases a song for her sales. They tend to stick into their own business and be a very professional, even though I of course know some rappers of hip hop become actors in movies.
However, here in Japan, there are a sort of two layers of music business, one is superficial, and the other is "REAL" music business.
The superficial layer has not been "REAL" music business in your sense, and this is the "main stream" music business in Japan. We call it something like "IDOL business". Let's say, for instance, to find a cute girl on a street and promote her to be popular. In such case, music is "used". Does she want to be a real good singer, or her promoter want her be so? No. Not at all. It's gonna be just her first step to be popular, and her promoter aims at letting her being a sort of actress finally.
Unfortunately, this "superficial layer", or "IDOL business", has been "main stream" music business in Japan. Therefore, we seldom see real professional musicians in this "main stream" basically. Also sometimes, to attract public attention, actors and actresses sing songs. Music is basically "used" for promotions and that is why I say music itself is not treated so seriously here in Japan. Music is just a sort of "tools".
Of course, there are a lot of good musicians in another layer, but because the superficial layer is so strong at business, they cannot be in "main stream" basically. They themselves cannot be trending without some sort of happenings, like, as I showed, tied up with some dramas, movies, or anime.

Well, this is infamous one I could think
"The quick brown fox, jumps over the lazy dog"
速い茶色のキツネは、のろまなイヌに飛びかかる
【はやいちゃいろのキツネは、のろまなイヌにとびかかる】
はやい=quick
ちゃいろ=brown
キツネ=fox
のろま=lazy
イヌ=dog
とびかかる=leaps
Literal: As for quick brown fox, over the lazy fox it jumps.
Basically, Japanese language is SOV (Subject-Object-Verb) ordered. The verbs always comes at the end of clause.
Neglecting the adjectives, we get
キツネは、イヌにとびかかる。(S-O-V)
"Fox jumps over dog"
(S-V-O)

どのありがとうございました!!!
A:
Actually, the correct spell is どうも. Not ども. (Sometimes, especially young people just say ども as どうも, but this is a very informal expression)
What do I say in the Supermarket, when the cashier hands me my stuff?
- I think it's just fine to say どうも.
What do I say when someone hands me a bowl of food, etc.
- it depends on who did it.
If the person is just a friend of yours, or your family, or your colleague younger than you, it's ok to say どうも or ありがとう. Add どうも to express gratitude more deeply, but no need to add ございます.
If the person is older than you, we usually add ございます at the end. (Of course, to your boss or client too whether he/she is older than you or not)

Q:
thanking someone casually. ども この表現は自然ですか?
A:
We say, どうも. どうも is used in some different contexts. It's not specifically used to thank someone. It could be rude, depending on the context. Also, we don't use it to friends or family either.
