The second sentence structure also makes grammatical sense, but making it “Jerusalem is A stone that god will make” might be better.

On the historical side, aside from all the absurdities in Genesis, archaeologists no longer believe that any ancient Hebrews were ever enslaved in Egypt, as there is no evidence for it among the existing artifacts of that era.
