A: Anything with "ish" on the end means that the adjective it is attached to is only half-hearted. "Was the play good? Yes, goodish" (that means that the play was okay but not outstanding). "Were your son's reports good? Well, goodish". Nowadays you can put "ish" on the end of almost anything. It's a very useful ending! It's not usually found at the end of long words. You wouldn't say that something tasted "deliciousish" or that "the fighting was indiscriminateish".
