Q: intervene と interfere と meddle と tamper はどう違いますか?
A: Intervene and interfere are very similar but I would say to intervene has a less negative meaning. You could intervene in the process of a crime being committed; however to interfere is to negatively impact the process of something being done. For instance: my little brother being loud interfered with my ability to do my homework. Meddle usually means to go through something or pry into something you shouldn't while tampering is going through something with the intent of messing it up. If you tampered with someone's phone for instance it might mean you deleted important files.
Q: intervene と interrupt はどう違いますか?
A: These words are synonyms. However, intervene is usually used as more formal version of the word interrupt.
