Q: ood another) to explain me something? I asked in Spanish session, but they get confused or misunderstood. I know in English they use "if I tell* (with the verb in the present) and "if I told* you (with the verb in the past) but with the same meaning. Can you tell me how they (Spanish speakers) do it in Spanish? is there 2 estructure too or just one? thanks

A: this is the correct answer. It’s conjugated in what’s called the imperfect subjunctive. Spanish speakers have a tough time explaining it because it is something they know when to use but not why it’s used.
