Q:
This doesn't pertain to learning language ( and I'm a native speaker of English anyway sooo...). I am currently going to try my first ever game of Airsoft.
Does anybody have any tips for me? I might end up in a free for all and won't get very far.... or might be in a team game and will end up being a hindrance... I'd like to have a little knowledge to arm myself with when I get to the arena later today ( like, around 1 or 2 pm to about 6 pm ( which is the end for the facility where the arena is housed).
Here is the things I DO know about the combat scenario:
1. Pay attention to your surroundings
2. Pay attention to your allies
3. use cover
4. Sometimes the best offence is a good defense
5. Don't stay in one spot too long, keep moving.
6. When in doubt, empty your magazine ( probably not the smartest thing to follow but hey, it's Murphy's law)
7. Anything that can go wrong, WILL go wrong.
8. If you can see them, they can see you.
9. The easy way generally gets you killed ( I'm pretty much just quoting murphy's military laws right now, just because some of them make sense in airsoft.)
10. Friendly fire, Isn't
that's pretty much all i got.

Considering it's a close quarters type arena, I'll probably want to go heavy on armor... I'm not all for speed, I just don't want to feel more pain than I'm used to my first time ( and I sense pain differently than most people.... I've been thinking I'll call my problem "Hyper-Pain Syndrome" ) Then again.... Since i want to get an Airsoft Hecate II sniper, bipod, and high powered variable range scope..... Light might be better.... Do you think of a sniper as also having medic capabilities or do you think of a sniper as being only a long range support soldier?
