A:
They're very similar.
A trend is one thing that's popular with most people, so if you follow a trend, you're like a lot of people.
But if you "go with the crowd", you're fitting in with only a small group of people you know.
Example of a trend:
Allison wore Nike sneakers because that's what all the teenagers did.
She is like ALL TEENAGERS.
Basically, a trend is something almost all people do.
Example of going with the crowd:
Allison didn't deny the cigarette in order to go with the crowd at the party.
Allison is only like THE PEOPLE AT THE PARTY.

"disruptive trends", "disruptive technology", means good thing or bad thing? would you please give me examples? は 英語 (アメリカ) で何と言いますか?
A:
The word disruptive comes from the word "to disrupt", meaning to negatively affect a process/activities by causing problems to its usual process. One prominent disruptive technology is the rise of e-commerce, where the ease of online shopping has disrupted brick and mortar businesses as more people would rather shop online for convenience than to travel to a store to buy what they want. Hence these brick and mortar businesses have to adapt to the rising popular trend of e-commerce by introducing an online version of their store to compete w these e-commerce businesses

The trend of using intelligent machines seem to be overwhelming. Nevertheless, the use of it is a mixed blessing― AI is taking over a host of human jobs, with outperforming humans , which boost our society even our life .On the contrary, some individuals regard it as an intangible regression of the brain
Please tell me whether my sentences and logic is right .
Please tell me whether my sentences and logic is right .
A:
In my opionion, the shortcomings of AI pale significantly when set against the benefit - AI does not stand in the way of the development of the human brain.
In the the case of an infant AI can stimulate our potential to reach a higher technology level. Only through advanced knowledge and better insights we can design more advanced intelligent machines . Because of this the questions how can we suppose this far-sighted practice is somehow wrong?
In the case of an adult the time freed from human labour by us could be for rest as well as self-development. The ability slow down our daily life to be able to observe even the most minute issues and to dedicate ourselves to the preferences rather than trivial matters are both striking advantages we can gain through AI. Therefore, I am absolutely sure AI can be utilised to enrichen our thinking and brain capacity.
All in all, what hinders our brains is not the AI. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater is just a ridiculous choice. Actually, when we drive the development of AI our society will progress accordingly.
