Are these sentences natural? If no, please tell me how to improve.

@pontaro: my English teacher would have spotted the error in this sentence if I showed this to her back when I was a youth... First, there is a difference between "lie" and "lay"... to lie means “to rest,” “to assume or be situated in a horizontal position,” and to lay means “to put or place down"... Also, the word "lie" can never have a "direct object" (the verb to lie does not show the kind of action that can be done to anything; books can never lie themselves down/be lied down). To lay is a transitive verb: it needs a direct object because it describes the kind of action that is done to something. That is, something or someone has to be receiving the action of the verb to lay. (Laying tablecloth/books/bottles/etc. down; only inanimate objects/things can be lay/laid down) Think of this verb as meaning “to place,” “to put”: something in the sentence must be getting “put” or “placed.” Another reason people have trouble remembering the difference between to lie and to lay is that the past tense form of to lie is lay—spelled exactly like the present tense form of the verb to lay; when referring to an action that happened in the past (Though A LOT of Americans throw this rule out the window and say "lied"/"laid") Lol

@pontaro: All in all it looks like you followed the rules PERFECTLY... I know for sure, without a doubt, a native American English speaker would have said it like this: "I went to a stone sauna where I lied/laid down on a heated floor. I felt as though my body were detoxed and relaxed." Yep, that's how the natives would have said it... Lol （＾∇＾）xD

@jctalker: Thank you for your kind advice. Are you saying that my sentence is correct grammatically but many Americans don't use "lay" but "lied"/"laid" as a past tense of "lie", right?
Anyway what is "LoI" in your sentence?

@pontaro: yes, your sentence is grammatically correct in every way possible... But, sadly Americans don't use it that way... (At least not until they graduate high school due to the fact getting high grades in English class is no longer required by then). Oh, and I learned this two days ago: "lol" is the English equivalent;the same as （笑）in Japanese text/SMS messages... (^ ^)
