英語 (アメリカ) に関する質問

On this Monday I was going to visit a English lesson and teacher wrote me "ready to speak in English to the class on a topic of interest to you".

I understood that as " prepare a topic about your hobby", but my friend translated that as " prepare a topic about yourself, that is why are you interesting?

Who is right?
