I was watching おもひでぽろぽろ subbed in English, and at about half an hour into the movie, the narrator says "Like it or not, a butterfly must first live as a caterpillar before it can fly away". I would love to know how it was said in japanese, but I'm not sure I can recognize the sounds nor do I know the words used.

What I hear is this:

あうんしは蛹になかなければ蝶々にはなれない　蛹になんかちつともなりたいと思っていないのに

I'm sorry about all the background noise. I recorded directly from the speakers of my computer, which are both making those sounds.
