英語 (アメリカ) に関する質問

What do you call subareas /subfields /sub-disciplines of a given major in the university?

For examples,
someone is studying "psychology", and specifically "children's psychology"

Or
"someone is studying "computer science", specifically "hardware"

Or
Someone is studying internal medicine, specifically "endocrinology".

Or
Someone is studying "Civil engineering " specifically "geotechnical engineering "

Which term/word would you use instead of "specifically" in my sentences?

I want to say:
He is studying Computer Science , subarea(?) Hardware , BS degree.?
