When you buy from someone, you are an end just like them.
They get money and you spend it.

This also applies to talking to people.
They listen and you talk.

誰も他の人の目的のために手段となってはならないということです。すべての人間は、お互いに目的であり、目的でしかなく、手段ではない限りにおいて、平等であるということです。ある人が何者かの目的を果たすための手段になれば、そこに主従関係という不平等な関係が生じるという意味でしょう。
