What and how do you use こう言うこと?? I think koto is like "about this" (for an inanimate object), iu is "to talk" but how about kou? I think it's proper/correct?

So does it mean, this is the right thing or something like that

So, you mean ○○○, right?

@nihonggolearner I think "こういうこと" is closer to something like that (this) rather than the right thing.
For example,
Don't say something like this (こういうことは言わないでください)
