先週、いつも寝る前に読む本を妹に読まれた。when you add いつも, it's sound specific to reader:)

First of all, we can omit subject or possessive when it’s obvious, but the sentence like yours is a bit too complicated to omit the possessive nouns.

先週 and いつも are not usually used in a same sentence because they sound modifying the whole sentence and both of them are “when” so that sounds like this:
Last week, Always reading book (whose?) is read by my sister.

So, it needs to be clear which part "always" modifies, which part "last week" modifies, and "whose" book it is.

先週、私がいつも読んでいる本は、妹に読まれた。

This わたしが plays a role of “whose” and also make いつも direction clearer.

I want to say "The book I always read before bed was read by my sister last week".
So, how about this one: "先週、私がいつも寝る前に読む本は、妹に読まれた"?
Can I use 読む instead of 読んでいる?

Then, 読んでいる・読む both fine, "先週、私がいつも寝る前に読む本は、妹に読まれた" is perfecly Okay.

but, for me, "the book I always read before sleeping" is like "I didn't actually read it every day, but, generally, I would read it every day" feeling.
So I would use "the book I always reading before sleeping" いつも寝る前に読んでいる”, because It emphasizes the significance of my sister's annoyance and suggests that it was "unusual event" enough to talk about it.

@CatloverAKAdoggies Thank you for your explanation. I was imagining a book like Bible or a classic which I flip through pages before I go to bed. In this case, do you think "先週、私がいつも寝る前に読む本は、妹に読まれた" works?
