what is the foreing language most taught in russia? if english, what is the second, and why do you think?

English is taught the most. The second one is German or French I believe. Probably because they're used the most.

I think Chinese is not as popular as English or German and French, because in schools hasn't Chinese. Maybe only English and German or French. Sometimes has Italian, Spain.
But, of course, some people studing themself without teachers.
For ex.: Chinese, Japanese, Korean.

@RomanSilence I live on the Far East. We have Chinese in some schools because China is like super close

English, of course. German is the most popular second foreign language

The second one is German, because Germany is the biggest partner of Russia in Western Europe.
