for the word 貰う[もらう]
why do some people write like this:
もらおう
rather than just the katakana form without the お in between?
I've also been seeing this around casual posts, is this just another slang?

もらう means just get or obtain. もらおう includes the meaning of intention.

そのカードをもらおう。
Sono kahdo wo moraou.
I will get the card.

リンゴを食べよう。
Ringo wo tabeyou.
I will eat an apple.
But sometimes, this phrase is used for "Let's have an apple." It may make you confused.

I can't find the word もらおう as a word in any dictionary tho. is this a colloquial thing?
