Actually Eugene can be used as a unisex name meaning even if you are a boy or a girl you can have this name. No it is okay to use this name because it is your name. Some people just don't realize some names can be used for both boys and girls

It's okay not to change it.
Some names are "unisex", which means, it can be for a boy or a girl.
I know other people whose names are usually for the opposite gender and there's no problem at all.

On my opinion, you shouldn't worry at all what other say. It makes no difference if this name is for boys or for girls. There are so many names used for girls and boys in the same time. My name is Cindy(Sindi) and I'm a girl but my name, in my country, is used for boys too and I don't feel embarrassed at all, even though some people have said that to me. So I strongly think don't Change your name no matter what people say. Besides your name is special :) I like it^^

At least your name is common.
I have a very long name (three names for my given name) a lot of people can't even pronounce and spell my name right. haha

Yeah, you really should feel better.
I always have a hard time when ordering and they get my name, I'll spell it out, and they still can't get it right. So, i just let them give me a new name or just use some other name to save time. haha

I think Eugene is a lovely name for a girl!! Is your Korean name 유진?
Don't worry about changing it, there are names that can be used for any gender! Also, it is a trend to use names of the opposite gender ㅋㅋㅋ don't worry ^^
